The blog is for all students who are interested in taxonomy and systematics of all animals, plants and fungi. This is a platform for students to share and exchange ideas. As well as to stay informed about funding opportunities available as soon as possible.

The goals of the SABI student forum are to:

• Support, encourage and stimulate student’ interest in biosystematic research in South Africa
• Facilitate inquiries and requests concerning funding, awards and career opportunities
• Promote science communication of biosystematics by advertising activities such as workshops and conferences among students
• Promote awareness of SABI by encouraging interaction and collaboration among students as well as participation in the organization and at its yearly forum
• And bring the committee to all the members of the public in general
